1、Training objectives

The postgraduate students trained by the degree authorization point shall meet the needs of national economic construction, master the solid and broad basic theory, systematic and in-depth professional knowledge and basic quantitative analysis methods of business administration, and be able to independently solve various management problems in modern organizations by using management methods and various technical means. Have good communication and language skills, and be competent for business work related to enterprise management. Research direction primary coverage
Strategic management (01) Strategic management covers a series of decisions and management arts made by an enterprise or organization to determine the overall and long-term development direction, objectives, tasks and policies in a certain period of time, as well as resource allocation. Strategic management research is to provide effective support for these decisions and management arts. Therefore, it is necessary to study the overall operation and management problems, enterprise strategy and corporate governance, value chain integration and strategic alliance in enterprise operation and development, especially in view of the characteristics of globalization and the new economic era, as well as the new problems encountered in China's economic transformation, and scientifically reveal their internal laws.
Organizational behavior and human resource management (02) The direction of organizational behavior and human resource management is based on human nature. For individuals, groups and leaders, based on the analysis of KSA characteristics and behavior characteristics, from the perspective of human and organizational management, it studies the underlying logic, management methods and tools to achieve organizational strategic objectives, so as to cultivate critical thinking Compound research talents with interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Accounting (03) Accounting aims to train high-level accounting professionals to meet the needs of internationalization. The degree winner should have a solid theoretical foundation in economics and management, master the knowledge system, research methods and tools of accounting, be able to find new problems in accounting practice and research, and have the ability to analyze and solve problems, independent research, and international academic exchange and cooperation.
Marketing (04) The marketing direction mainly allows students to learn the theory and method knowledge of middle and advanced stages of marketing and business administration, systematically train students in marketing research methods and skills, and help students form a systematic marketing knowledge system and strong marketing thinking mode. So as to cultivate students' ability to extract scientific problems from marketing practice; Cultivate students' ability to analyze and solve marketing practice problems; Cultivate students' ability to summarize, integrate, evaluate and expand theories and research in the field of marketing.
Technical economy and management (05) The major of technical economy and management is subordinate to the first-class discipline of business administration. This major combines technical economics with management, studies from the perspective of economics, and demonstrates and analyzes the economic effects of various "technical" measures and "technical" schemes to be adopted in the process of social reproduction under certain social conditions. Based on China's management practice, this major focuses on technology evaluation and selection, technology innovation management, new product development management and technology sustainable development. This major trains talents who master solid basic theories of management and economics and systematic technical and economic expertise. Graduates of this major can skillfully use computers and related software to solve problems in the field of technology, economy and management, and have certain management innovation ability.
3、Cultivation mode
The cultivation of Postgraduates adopts the combination of tutor responsibility and guiding group cultivation. The composition of the steering group can be nominated by the tutor and approved by the college leaders according to the research direction and subject content of master students. The group members are generally composed of 3 ~ 5 teachers (including tutors) with professional and technical positions above associate professor, but the master tutor plays a leading role in the training of master students. At the same time, the steering group shall assist the tutor to guide the master's course study, scientific research and dissertation. The college and relevant leaders shall guide and inspect the training of master students.
4、Years of study
The length of study of full-time academic postgraduates is generally 2.5 years.
5、Curriculum
Master students should obtain at least 30 credits.
For non science and engineering postgraduates, they can be exempted from public experimental courses and replaced by professional courses. For master's postgraduates who lack the professional foundation at the undergraduate level, several undergraduate main courses of this discipline shall be determined as supplementary courses under the guidance of their tutors, but shall not be included in the total credits.

6、Training link
1. Course learning
Course learning is an important training link for postgraduates, which needs to meet the relevant credit requirements.
(1) Advanced English listening and speaking and advanced English writing can apply for exemption after meeting relevant requirements;
(2) The course contents of introduction to academic literacy include: scientific ethics and academic norms, intellectual property rights, humanities and arts, psychology, career planning, academic literature review, academic paper writing, etc;
(3) Master students shall submit the record of academic lectures of Northwest Institute of technology management before the opening of the topic, participate in at least 10 lectures, and review before the opening of the topic.
(4) Master students shall, under the guidance of their tutors, formulate a curriculum plan according to the training plan, and are allowed to select courses in stages, but they must complete the course selection within one year after admission at the latest. The course time can be selected according to needs, or arranged before the thesis work, or the course study and the thesis work can be carried out at the same time, but the degree compulsory courses should generally be completed within the first academic year, and all courses should be completed within two years. The required credits must be completed before applying for dissertation defense.
2. Comprehensive practice
The comprehensive practice link focuses on cultivating the comprehensive quality of postgraduates, which can be carried out in a variety of ways, such as teaching practice, scientific and technological innovation, social service, cultural construction, temporary exercise, volunteer activities and so on, which can be carried out in a short semester or vacation. After the comprehensive practice is completed, the comprehensive practice summary form for Postgraduates of Northwest University of technology shall be filled in, and the instructor shall write comments and attach the opinions of the comprehensive practice implementation unit, which shall be included in my business file.
3. Thesis opening
Thesis opening is the starting point for master students to carry out their thesis work, which should generally be carried out before the end of the third semester at the latest. Under the guidance of their tutors, postgraduates should read relevant literature, especially foreign literature, to form a "literature review"; The opening report shall demonstrate the scientific significance, background, research content, expected objectives, research methods and subject conditions of the topic.
The opening of master's degree thesis is in the charge and arrangement of the college, which is generally arranged and implemented by tutors. Generally, the opening evaluation group can be composed of 3-5 tutors with associate senior or above professional and technical titles in this discipline or similar disciplines. Postgraduates are required to submit a review of at least 50 foreign literature.
The college conducts spot check on the opening report of master students and sends it to the external audit. Only after passing the external audit can we enter the next stage.
4. Mid term assessment
Master's students shall submit the interim progress report of the thesis about 6 months after the opening of the thesis. The report shall include: whether the thesis work is carried out according to the scheduled content of the opening report and the planned progress of the thesis; Completed research contents, participated scientific research and academic conditions; Existing or expected problems, proposed solutions, etc; Next work plan and research content.
According to the research progress and discipline development in the mid-term of the thesis, students are allowed to make necessary adjustments to the topic selection (title, content, research plan, etc.) at the beginning of the thesis. When applying for dissertation defense, the main content of the dissertation shall be basically consistent with the content of the dissertation determined after the mid-term assessment.

5. Thesis writing
The master's thesis is the summary of systematic and complete academic research work independently completed by postgraduates under the guidance of their tutors. The master's thesis should have good academic nature and considerable workload, use the existing theories or methods to solve the scientific problems of the discipline, carry out the necessary theoretical analysis and get the correct results. The specific requirements shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of Northwest University of technology on writing dissertations.
6. Thesis defense
The application for dissertation defense shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of the University's degree evaluation committee.
7、Requirements for published papers and scientific research achievements
In order to encourage postgraduates to publish high-level articles in combination with their dissertations, those who meet one of the following conditions can apply to the university degree office for exemption from blind evaluation. The application conditions are as follows:
(1) Publish at least one academic paper in SCI / SSCI / A & HCI journals or collections (copies of journals and library index certificates shall be submitted);
(2) Publish at least 2 academic papers in journals or collections included in EI / CSCD / CSSCI (copies of journals and library index certificates shall be submitted).
