III. Introduction to Partner Institution
Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) is one of the earliest established business schools in the UK and has cultivated a large number of outstanding leaders in business and finance. It has become one of the world's top business schools and is ranked among the top ten business schools in the UK. The University of Manchester is a member of the Global Alliance in Management Education (PIM) and is a partner of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute. It holds accreditations from the three leading business school accreditation bodies: EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA.
IV. Program Schedule
Program Duration: Summer 2024, July 28 - August 11
Main Course: User Experience Design & Digital Economy: Platforms, Artificial Intelligence, and Business
The two-week program at the university includes a total of 10 study days, with 8 study days consisting of 48 hours of lectures by professors on subject knowledge and 16 hours of group practical discussions, combining theory with practical application. Total hours: Including thematic research courses and group practical courses, a total of 60 hours over two weeks. Assessment methods: written exams, group discussions, and final presentations.
V. Program Cost
29,800 CNY per person (including course fees and accommodation; excluding visa fees, round-trip airfare and transportation, meals, tourism, and other personal expenses)
VI. Program Highlights
1. Cutting-edge interdisciplinary exploration: Students can choose two subject topics for applied inquiry based on their personal research background and interests. This topic exploration process will provide research ideas and阶段性 deliverables for graduation projects, academic furtherance, and article publications.
2. Systematic thinking creation: Implant a systematic thinking system essential for future personal development and cultivate the ability to transfer knowledge.
3. Business school professors design and teach courses: Taught and guided by professors from various fields at Manchester Business School, providing students with an authentic and high-quality professional experience.
4. Shaping talents for future development: Enhance systematic thinking ability, interdisciplinary research ability, teamwork ability, creative innovation ability, and knowledge transformation ability.
5. Course outcomes: Invitation letter from the college, completion certificate, grade report, and program credits (specific credits assessed by the institution based on performance).
VII. Funding Policy
University Funding: Up to 10,000 CNY per student for Europe, America, Oceania, and Africa regions;
Note: Each student can only receive funding for one winter or summer vacation project within a calendar year.
College Funding: 5,000 CNY per student for the School of Management; students from other colleges should consult their respective college administrators.
